Path of the water

The Water Trail is a circular route that provides insights into the importance of waterways for an intact natural landscape. 

This 9-kilometer trail is characterized by pristine waterways and their associated floodplains, as well as some wild and romantic natural landscapes. Water, as the lifeblood of the area, accompanies hikers along sections of the trail, following the Ruwer and Klinkbach streams.

Along the hiking trail, there are signs with inspiration and information. We let ourselves be inspired by the stations "Lifelines of the Ruwer and Klinkbach," "Bats at Night," and "Stag Beetles and Bark Beetles" along the way. Picnic benches along the route invite you to linger.

From the direction of Kell am See: coming from the B 407 via the L143 from Kell am See and Schillingen to Lampaden

Sturdy footwear (hiking boots) is recommended. 

Before your hike, you can stock up on delicious provisions for your journey at the Lampaden country bakery in the town center.
