We warmly welcome you to the heart of a natural paradise that invites you to hike, cycle and explore.

This modernly furnished holiday apartment is ideal for a wonderful holiday in the Hochwald region. Thanks to the nearby B 268 and B 407 federal highways, the Saar and Moselle rivers, as well as Saarland and Luxembourg, are easily accessible.

Brief history of our house: Our house, or rather holiday apartment, is located in the village of Vierherrenborn, which was originally settled by 42 farming families. Due to structural changes in agriculture, much has changed since then. For example, our dairy farm will not be continued by the next generation. In 1980, Christa and Franz Mersch married and took over the family farm. Their two sons, Roland and Thomas, were born in 1981 and 1984, respectively, and both have since moved out. This freed up a lot of living space, which we converted into a holiday apartment on the first floor.

The apartment has a separate entrance, is modern and brightly furnished and comfortably equipped.

In 2020, the surroundings of the holiday apartment were made even more family-friendly; a private playground for your children provides entertainment, whether climbing, swinging or sliding, nothing is left to be desired.

The very quiet location and a magnificent view invite you to linger

The recently installed and modernized barbecue area with a modern gas grill also contributes to a pleasant atmosphere.

To ensure you can explore this natural paradise with "built-in tailwind," we've purchased two brand-new e-bikes; simply switch them on, hop on, and start cycling! Feel free to ask us about it.

from the A1 / Reinsfeld:

Leave the A1 at junction 132 (Reinsfeld) towards Saarburg/Kell am See. Then follow the road towards Saarburg (B407). You will drive through the village of Zerf. At the roundabout, take the first exit towards Trier (B268). After 700 meters, turn off the B268 onto a local access road.

After 800m you have reached your destination, the holiday apartment!

from Trier:

Leave Trier in the direction of Saarbrücken/Zerf.

Follow the road for approximately 20 km and turn off at the Vierherrenborn bus stop. Follow the K149 for 900 m to the community center "Alte Schule" (Old School), then turn left onto Zerfer Straße.

After about 1km you will have reached your destination, the holiday apartment!

from the A8 / Merzig:

Leave Merzig in the direction of Losheim am See (L157).

Turn left after Brotdorf towards Losheim am See (L157). At the intersection, continue straight ahead towards Hausbach/Britten (L374). After Britten, turn left onto the B268 towards Trier. At the roundabout near Zerf, take the second exit towards Trier (B268). After 700 meters, turn off the B268 onto a local access road.

After 800m you have reached your destination, the holiday apartment!
