Holiday home "Chicken House"

My father originally built a chicken coop. But before the first chicken could move in, the lake was created and the holiday village was built. On a whim, he turned it into a cozy vacation home!

Our chicken coop is situated on a large, naturally maintained, and pesticide-free property.
The 40 m² living room, kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom offer a comfortable temporary home. A sunny, covered terrace invites you to relax.

The bike path is just 150 meters away, and countless hiking trails in the surrounding area await discovery.

Upon request, I will gladly advise you on beautiful hiking and cycling routes and on beautiful destinations for excursions.

I'm participating in the VRT project. This allows my guests to explore the surrounding area, e.g., Trier, Luxembourg, or Saarburg, conveniently and without parking worries or costs using the VRT guest ticket.

Pricing:

The price includes all additional costs.

Children up to 6 years old are free.

Minimum stay 5 nights, during the season (July 1st - September 15th) at least 7 nights.
Shorter stays may be possible by prior arrangement, up to 14 days before arrival.

Spend a few wonderful days with your dog in our holiday home. Enjoy spending time together on long hikes around Kell am See.
Description of services for dogs:
Number of dogs allowed: 2.
Cost per dog/night: €8.
Dog size: maximum German Shepherd size.
The dog is allowed to roam freely in the house.
Amenities for dogs:
Washing facilities for the dog on the lawn
. Dog exercise area: meadow
. Hiking trail nearby: Ruwer Hochwald Loop; extensive network of forest trails right outside the door.
Owners are responsible for their dogs (dog liability insurance).

Check-in: from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM

Check-out: 8:00 to 11:00

Directions:

Coming from the Hunsrückhöhenstraße (entrance after the gas station), turn right into the village and after approximately 40 meters, turn right again onto the street "Zeigwiese". After approximately 50 meters, turn left. After approximately 60 meters, you will find our vacation home on the left-hand side; at the next possible junction, turn right again and park your car after approximately 40 meters on the right-hand side of the road.
