Welcome to Schillingen, a village of 1,300 inhabitants in the Saar-Hunsrück Nature Park in southwestern Rhineland-Palatinate.
Our newly renovated, detached holiday home "Wiesental," with a total of two apartments, is located on the outskirts of Schillingen.
This modernly furnished holiday home, offering magnificent panoramic views of the Hochwald mountain ridges, invites you to relax and unwind.
The "Schillinger Panoramaweg" hiking trail and the Ruwer-Hochwald cycle path are directly accessible from the holiday home.
The nearby Schillingen leisure center, with its forest lake, playground, barefoot path, nature trail, labyrinth, and boules court on the edge of the forest, offers activities for all ages.
The "Hochwald" outdoor swimming pool is also just under a kilometer from Schillingen and easily reachable on foot or by bicycle.
Schillingen also boasts excellent local infrastructure, including a bakery, grocery store, restaurant, three playgrounds, and sports facilities (football and tennis courts).

Thanks to its proximity to the B 268 and B 407 federal highways (Hunsrückhöhenstraße) and the A1 motorway, destinations such as Saarburg, Trier, Luxembourg, France, and within the Saarland region are easily and quickly accessible.

Directions:

Coming from the A1 motorway:
Leave the A1 motorway at exit 132 (Reinsfeld) and turn left onto the B407 towards Saarburg/Kell am See. After Kell am See, turn right onto the L143 towards Schillingen. In Schillingen itself, follow Hochwaldstraße. At the third exit, turn left onto Mühlenweg. Follow this road until the first
exit on the right. You are now on Wiesenstraße. Our holiday home is located directly on the left-hand side of the street.

 

 

 

The price for the "Mechthild" holiday apartment (ground floor) is €80.00 per day per unit for up to 2 people (including electricity, water, and final cleaning). Each additional person (up to a maximum of 4 people) costs an extra €20.00.

The price for the "Edwin" apartment (1st floor) is €70.00 per day per unit for up to 2 people (including electricity, water, and final cleaning). Each additional person (up to a maximum of 3 people) costs an extra €20.00.
