Holiday apartment "Heimelig"

Our holiday apartment "Heimelig" is located in the beautiful Hochwald village of Schillingen, surrounded by forests.

Well-marked hiking trails, premium circular routes (Schillinger Panorama Trail), and cycle paths allow you to explore the beautiful surroundings.

The holiday apartment is located near the Schillingen leisure center, which features a lake (also suitable for fishing), a restaurant with a children's playground, a nature trail, a tree maze, and a barefoot path. The "Sieben-Köpfe-Blick" (Seven-Heads View) observation tower is also on the way there. An outdoor swimming pool is also located nearby.

Schillingen is approximately 36 km from the Luxembourg border, while Trier (Germany's oldest city, home to the Porta Nigra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site) on the Moselle River is about 23 km away. Excursions to Saarburg (with its waterfall) or to the Saar Loop near Mettlach are also highly recommended. The nearby town of Kell am See (approximately 4 km) is also worth a visit.

The village of Schillingen has a bakery, a fresh market, a sausage shop and a restaurant.

Of course, there is parking available for your car in front of the house. Bicycles can also be stored in the garage upon request.
