Our hotel-restaurant is a family-run establishment, situated directly on the premium hiking trail "Saar-Hunsrück-Steig" in a quiet lakeside location. The family-friendly Ruwer-Hochwald cycle path (approx. 2 km away) leads you from Kell along the Ruwer River to Trier. The Saar-Hunsrück-Steig is just 200 m away.
The hotel is a three-star establishment and has been awarded the "Wanderbares Deutschland" (Hiking in Germany) seal of approval.
In the restaurant, you will find a blend of modern comfort and rustic charm. We serve fresh, seasonal dishes daily, as well as homemade cakes and ice cream specialties. You can spend relaxing hours on our newly designed Mediterranean terrace with lake views.
Almost all of the quiet, comfortable hotel rooms offer lake views, a balcony or terrace, shower/WC, TV, and Wi-Fi.
Hikers, cyclists, and bus groups are warmly welcomed. We offer luggage service, a shuttle service, packed lunches, and informational materials for cycling and hiking tours. Package deals available upon request.
