Description

This tour through the Hochwald holiday region offers pure wilderness.

Through the Dhron valley with its rushing river and interesting rock formations, and through the Rockenwald primeval forest, you immerse yourself in nature.

Directions

From Kell am See, the route leads to Reinsfeld and on via Hinzert towards Beuren in the Dhron Valley, continuing to the Bescheider Mill , where tired cyclists can refresh themselves. On the other side of the Dhron, the path leads back and on through the "Rockenburg Primeval Forest" and past the Beuren fishing hut to the "Hohe Wurzel" (High Root). The route then continues towards Reinsfeld to the " Zeichener Baum " (Sculpted Tree), up to the Ruwer spring, and finally back to Kell. Here, you can treat yourself at the Hotel Zur Post or the Hotel Typisch , as well as at the Hotel Fronhof , Hau's am See , and the Landalpark Hochwald on the reservoir
