Bike tour Pellingen-Lampaden-Trier-Pellingen

This tour connects the Pellingen plateau with the Ruwer-Hochwald cycle path all the way to Trier.

From Pellingen, the route initially leads across the high plateau of the Hochwald forest to Lampaden. Beyond Lampaden, the route descends through wooded terrain to Heid Castle. From there, follow the signs for the Ruwer-Hochwald Cycle Path along level paths to Trier-Ruwer. Continue on the Moselle Cycle Path to the Roman city of Trier. Passing Mattheiser Weiher pond and the Mariahof district, the route climbs towards Obermennig. Cycling parallel to the B268, you'll return to Pellingen above the vineyards. 

Pellingen - Lampaden - Burg Heid - Ruwer-Hochwald cycle path to Trier-Ruwer - Mosel cycle path to Trier - St. Matthias district - Mattheiser Weiher - Obermennig - Pellingen.

Bus line 293 from Konz to Pellingen or bus line 207 from Trier to Pellingen.

Parking spaces are located on Trierer Straße opposite the parish church of St. Antonius.

Pellingen can be reached via the B268.

This suggested tour follows various long-distance cycle routes in the Rhineland-Palatinate region. There is no uniform signage for the route.
