Hentern Knowledge Trail

The educational trail is a roughly 2 km circular route around and through the municipality of Hentern – past meadows and fields and through the surrounding woodland.
There is much to discover and learn along the way.

Along the path, you'll find a variety of information panels on forestry and hunting. Walk through our beautiful natural surroundings with open eyes and ears. You'll discover things you haven't noticed before. The information panels are designed to help you learn new things and reinforce what you already know.

Our heavily used natural and cultural landscape requires a lot of attention and care, even if this is often not apparent at first glance.

Discover tree species, typical and perhaps even rare plants and animals, bark stripping and browsing damage as well as corresponding protective measures, wallows and footprints, hunting blinds, markings on trees.....
