54429 Schillingenapprox. 4.6 km from Kell am See
Description
"Wandering is the pleasure of aquatic animals"
Detailed description
This themed hiking trail was created as part of the "Ruwer and Tributaries" water project, a major nature conservation project of the Trier-Saarburg district, which aims to preserve and develop the Ruwer River and its tributaries, along with their floodplains, as a near-natural aquatic and riparian landscape.
On this 7.5 km walk, partly accompanied by the gentle murmur of the Ruwer, let yourself be impressed and fascinated by the idyllic beauty a stream can create when given the opportunity to flow and develop freely.
The starting point is the Schillingen recreation area/Spießbratenhalle (roast meat hall).
Walking time: Approximately 3 hours.
