While children and teenagers romp on the playground or sports field, numerous benches invite parents, seniors, and hikers to linger or take a short break.
A roughly 2 km long nature trail, which reveals a wealth of information about flora, fauna, wetlands, and birdlife through information panels, starts directly at the lake.
The "Hochwald-Acht" dream loop, a certified hiking trail around and through the villages of Waldweiler and Kell am See, also runs through this beautiful area.
