The Hunsrück Cycle Path

55606 Kirnapproximately 1 km from Kell am See

Description

Climb aboard and unwind between the Moselle, Rhine, and Saar rivers in the heart of Rhineland-Palatinate.
Away from the well-known cycling regions, this low mountain range holds a hidden gem for excursions and holidays on two wheels.

Detailed description

Would you like to enjoy unspoiled natural landscapes at a leisurely cycling pace, experience the diverse terrain of the Hunsrück region up close, discover charming Hunsrück villages, and do something for your well-being?

The Hunsrück cycle route, which runs identically to the Ruwer-Hochwald cycle route between Hermeskeil and Zerf, is the first west-east cycle route to cover the entire region and offers cyclists suitable stages depending on their suitability.

This cycling route offers a tour through the relaxing Hunsrück countryside and is best suited for experienced recreational cyclists. Individual sections, such as between Hermeskeil and Zerf or Morbach and Simmern, can also be enjoyed by casual cyclists. Many towns along the route offer bicycle-friendly accommodations and restaurants.
