Glider airfield

When gliders circle in the sky above today, many an observer is overcome with the desire to do the same, to escape the worries of everyday life with every circle in the sky. There could hardly be better conditions. Our airfield is ideally situated in terms of thermal conditions. Located in the heart of the Black Forest, its altitude of 560 meters above sea level provides access to the Hunsrück "thermal racetrack." Cross-country flights of over 500 km are not uncommon.
