In the summer of 2017, the 4-meter-high "7-Heads View" observation tower was built, creating a truly impressive viewing platform that offers visitors a fantastic 360° panoramic view across the hills of the Black Forest and the Osburg High Forest.
The tower's name reflects this fact and couldn't be more fitting: Heidkopf (530 m), Rösterkopf (708 m), Erbeskopf (816 m), Sandkopf (757 m), Teufelskopf (695 m), Schimmelkopf (695 m), and Raukopf (524 m) form the panorama, proceeding clockwise from the northwest.
The platform is located between the village of Schillingen and the leisure center, directly on the "Schillinger Panoramaweg" premium hiking trail, and is thus used by many hikers as a scenic viewpoint and rest stop.
